-How to make a Harakeke putiputi-
- Take off 1 inch of the first 2 faces of the Harakeke.
- Now do the same of the first direction.
- Now split it in half so you get 1 strap of the Harakeke.
- Furthermore you fold the Harakeke to the right.
- Then fold it down, and fold it again for it to face to the left!
- Now repeat that over and over again until it is about the length of your middle finger (not to be rude).
- Get your leftover Harakeke and put it on through the middle of your putiputi.
- Now twist it until it feels like its gonna break. Now half the leftover Harakeke without the flower getting loose. Put the half under the putiputi, tie it into a double knot.
- Now separate them into thin strips.
- Lastly get a knife a cut the bottom but diagonally.
