Some people like to wonder what is Matariki. Well Matariki is about family.  (when celebrate the past). Matariki is also celebrated on the tenth of June . When someone passes away matariki is probably the best time to celebrate the past with the loved ones that left . So you could make their favourite food for dinner . The second meaning for Matariki is when you celebrate the seven sisters Waiti, Waita, Wapuna-A-Rangi, Tupu-A-Nuku, Tupu-A-Rangi, Uru-A-Rangi, and the mother Matariki.Image result for seven sisters matariki
