My mokomoko -Lydia (rua mano mā rua tekau)

Kia ora e te whanau, last week my uncle  found a mokomoko, if you do not know what a mokomoko is it is like a big lizard but a miniature kind, and are in the family of Scincidae, Scincidae is one of the most diverse families of  mokomokos (lizards).
So, what i have heard is if you find a mokomoko it means good luck or something similar.
Then the next day my uncle found another one so i put with the other on to be honest they had no hesitation what so ever! They were just hauangi and whakaāio with each other. But then  i played with them and they just ran away but i knew i had to let them go anyway because ehara ko au tētahi tāngata kaha nei ki te tiaki i tētahi mokomoko which means i am not capable to look after a mokomoko. Anyways here some photos!

This was the first lizard.

And the second lizard.

How to make a Harakeke putiputi!!! (rohe)

-How to make a Harakeke putiputi-
  1.  Take off 1 inch of the first 2 faces of the Harakeke.
  2. Now do the same of the first direction.
  3. Now split it in half so you get 1 strap of the Harakeke.
  4. Furthermore you fold the Harakeke to the right.
  5. Then fold it down, and fold it again for it to face to the left!
  6. Now repeat that over and over again until it is about the length of your middle finger (not to be rude).
  7. Get your leftover Harakeke and put it on  through the middle of your putiputi.
  8. Now twist it until it feels like its gonna break. Now half the leftover Harakeke without the flower getting loose. Put the half under the putiputi, tie it into a double knot.
  9. Now separate them into thin strips.
  10. Lastly get a knife a cut the bottom but diagonally.
