Berries are rich in antioxidants. Studies show that eating them can reduce multiple risk factors for heart disease.
Dark chocolate is high in antioxidants like flavonoids. It has been associated with a lower risk of developing calcified plaque in the arteries and coronary heart disease.

The wild dream

“ Johnny bedtime!” Shouted the mother,” yes mother” he replied. After changing his clothes he tucked himself to bed and went to bed. While he was sleeping, he had the wildest dream that he was soaring through the sky on his favourite book the pirates and the caribbean. Furthermore he looked down to see the land but instead he saw a ship with a flag raised in the sky with a skull to warn the enemies. He needed a closer look so he tried to lower the book but the book just fell straight on the ship. When the book touched the ship it dissolved then the pirates took out their swords and laughed evilly and untrusted they tried to attack but Jonny was too fast, until the captain caught johnny on the main broom. No way to escape and no way to get down, Jonny was really scared. Then the captain jumped on it was eye to eye then the captain saw the weakness in Johnny's so he raised his sword to Jonny he screamed and wakes up, before he knew  Johnny's whole body was sweaty and his heart was racing and realized it was a dream. When Johnny woke up he saw a book open with all the pirates that were in his dream, then he looked at the other pages but the rest were blank. Johnny wonder was it a dream at all?

When I was embarrassed

   😖-When I was embarrassed-😖
“Lydia” Blurted Nana it's time to get dressed. “For what”? I answered For your
cousin's birthday so I got out of bed and went straight off to the closet it took
minutes to pick something so nana came to my room and showed me a dress
which I disagreed to wear but I had to.

When we arrived at the party everyone was outside and I tripped into the
dirt in front of everybody and they all laughed at me Nana said at least I'm not
dirty, so we went inside and got a whāngai (feed)

The rest of the day was terrible because I was holding my baby cousin and
she got sick on me my Aunty took a photo and said you must have bad luck today.
I started to cringe
Nana said he pai
koutou
( are you okay) I said yes and got in spear clothes, after that I felt great and I
thought the dress I was just kanga (cursed). But I still had a ataata kirihou
(plastic smile) through the day. When we went home I went straight to bed and
forgot about everything.

Don't just dream it believe it.

My story is this man is having  a dream, in his dream he found a new planet. When he woke up he told everyone and before he said anything  else they all laughed except his dad. The man said

it was impossible and the dad said the impossible is possible, and if you get lost just follow the stars.

So my message is, you may think the possible is impossible but you need to believe and you will accomplish everything.

When I felt proud of myself.

        Helping Nana with her vertigo
Image result for vertigo

“Lydia”!!! Shouted Nana, I sprinted to the lounge thinking is she hurt what happened?!? I saw Nana laying on the ground “WHAT HAPPENED”!!! “I fainted” said Nana, and after she said that she fainted again. I knew it was her Vertigo, Vertigo is a symptom where a person feels as if they or the objects around them are moving when they are not.  Vertigo is the most common type of dizziness. So I helped Nana up And helped her to her bed and made her a tea and checked if she was ok.

The next day Nana called the hospital for an appointment. The doctor said she couldn’t drive for 3 weeks. Nana was furious, everytime she wants to be alone in the car she can’t go which causes arguments because Aunty says she will drive her to PAK’nsave or countdown. So I had to help with dinner.

Then 2 days later when I was at school my baby cousin Lacey, my Uncle and Nana were at home and Nana passed out, luckily she was on the bed. Unfortunately, I saw the ambulance at my neighbours house because Mrs Jannie twin had lung cancer. I wondered...Does nana need an ambulance too? Should she be in the hospital? What if I am at school and she passes out? At least there will be nurses to care for her at the hospital.

Waking up from my thoughts I asked Nana “How are you” ? and she told me she had another appointment that day and that I should stay  at home. Uncle would take her. I hoped everything would be alright.  About 2 to 3 hours had passed and  they finally came back they found out she was just tired and she was getting better.

A few weeks later Nana had another appointment and doctors declared her well.

All these days, I had looked after nana. I had cooked, washed dishes, made her ginger tea and soup when she needed it.

I felt great about myself because I had helped her become better.

One day when she was almost good she said “ Thank you for looking after me. Can we go out to Burger King to celebrate.”

Cleaning our school

Thank you, Mike! Said Mrs.Sharma. Everybody glanced to see what it was but it was just timber for our art.

Then when Matua Mike left Mrs. Sharma said “that he is not very well and he isn’t happy today”, Because we keep on littering and every morning he comes to school and cleans our field and top court that is why he wanted to resign and quit.

So our class started discussing what should we could do Mrs.Sharma said “why don’t we clean the grounds and be rubbish monitors” some of us agreed but some didn’t. So Mrs. Sharma only made the people that wanted to (including me) became a rubbish monitor.

The next morning I woke up early came to school and went straight to the field it felt nice to clean the environment. I had 2 full bags full of plastic Matua Mike thank all of the rubbish monitors Matua Mike said we made his day we all so happy.
